What is Reiki?
"Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then one is more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is too high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki Treatments
"Reiki treats the whole person including body, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.
Reiki allows muscles to relax, increases blood flow to treated areas which in turn quickens the healing practice. Clients report help with stress, headaches, insomnia, upset stomach, sprains and other minor conditions. Reiki promotes psychological healing, release of anger, fear, worry, sadness and other unhealthy feelings and replaces them with self-worth, confidence and tranquility."

Essential Balance is an approach the health maintenance which combines the natural benefits of therapeutic grade essential oils and touch therapy. Most people encounter daily disturbances to their internal and external lives. These disturbances come in the form of stress, toxic insult, inflammatory response and autonomic imbalance and can lead to negative effects on their overall health and well being. Certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils are applied to the back and feet enhancing the effect of the oils while stimulating and balancing the body's systems and energy meridians/centers.
